The difference between passive and active voice is that active voice emphasises the thing that performs the action; whilst passive voice emphasises the recipient of the action/the action.
Mr Burns, this is for the Viking non chronological report, but I have Adi’s sheet and he probably has mine, but I definitely don’t have my planning sheet, I have someone else’s.
Oh that is really annoying Elpida. Mrs Miller/Mrs Mores must have gotten muddled when sorting the work. Just try you best without the plan if you can remember some of your subheadings. I understand how frustrated you must be working without it. I’ll let Mrs Lyne know. If you need any help with the subheadings, just comment. I’ll set up a non-chronological report post.
Just a way to remember, if it has by the.. in a sentence it will probably be passive
Josh kicked the ball. That’s active
The ball was kicked BY Josh. That is passive
The by in the sentence will help recognise passive and active. This does not work in evry sentence though

Example:
I put on my clothes. – Active
The clothes were put on by me. – Passive
Could you give more examples.
Do we think Yeseo is correct?
More examples:
He was using his phone. – A
His phone was used by him. – P
I used his account. – A
His account was used by me. – P
Anne wore my t-shirt. – A
My t-shirt was worn by Anne. – P
He ate the sandwich. – A
The sandwich was eaten by him. – P
When we are using passive voice, we use the past participle.

I checked and it’s not Adi’s.

Great work Yeseo!
Sorry I said that twice. Apparently when I first replied it came up saying that I already poste the comment even though I didn’t.

I noticed – I used ‘by’ in every passive sentence!
