We had a wonderful day yesterday celebrating World Book Day! I was seriously impressed by your fabulous costumes, and really enjoyed hearing about your favourite books.
Our tadpoles are beginning to hatch! How many do you think we currently have?
Owls have a new guest staying for the next few months… well, hundreds actually!
Can you guess what they are?
Here are just a few images from our EE Challenge day – well done to all of you for your superb creativity and great team work!
For our topic this term, we are learning all about the Vikings.
We have been role playing Viking families gathering at The Thing (their assembly) and discussing moving to a new settlement. Do you think this was a good way to make decisions? Do you know of any other ways decisions were made in other civilisations?
After watching this on Newsround, I would love to hear your thoughts! If you would like to draw your idea, you can bring it in and I will post it on the blog. House points for creativity!
The School councillors need your help! We will be having a meeting with one of the PTA and we need ideas to give to her. We need suggestions for the PTA’s funds should go to. One idea is benches for adults in the playground. We can not wait to hear your suggestions on Friday.

Hi everyone, this is Scarlett, Aimee, Joelle and Edi. This blog post is about the pantomime. On Tuesday the 11th, we went to see Aladdin: The Panto. We watched talented actors play characters such as Aladdin, Princess Jasmine and Wishy Washy. During the performance, there were many songs and kids helped play some parts, such as the people in Peking. We were given ice cream in the interval and talked about it. In some parts, we were given 3D glasses to provide a more immersive experience. Some parts were really scary, though! Ithought it was great, just everyone was screaming at the top of thier lungs!
We would like to know what your favourite part of the pantomime was. If not what was the funniest or scariest part of the show? Who was your favourite character or song?
A philosophical conundrum for you to contemplate over the weekend:
Are the best things in life free?
I can’t wait to hear your thoughts!
Owls Class went to a Menuhin Music Concert on the 23rd of November.
