This is the penultimate one in this set – it looks like I might need to do some more research, if only to keep Sarah occupied on a daily basis 😉

Hello!
Yes Mrs Watson! I need more daily Math problems to keep my mind sharp! \^o^/
1. 24.5 * 4 = 98
18 * 5 = 90
98 – 90 = 8
The distance marked ‘B’ is 8mm
2. 200 / 2 = 100
70% of 100 – 100 = 30
30 * 2 = 60
On Monday she has 60 left over
200 * 2 = 400
60 / 4 = 15
15 – 100 = 85
On Tuesday she sells 85% of the muffins

1) 8 mm. 24.5 times 4 is 98, 98 divided by 18 is 5.8, 5.8-5.00=0.8
2) 2.7%. 200 times 2 is 400, 400-130=270=270/400=135/200=27/40=0.027=2.7%
Q1 is right 🙂
1. 32.5mm
