Which of the heroes from our Young, Gifted and Black book do you admire the most and why?

    Our favourite is Pele for being the best player ever.

    We admire all of them because they have helped and inspired other black lives to be who they wanna be when they grow up.

    ROSA PARKS – I admire Rosa because she had the right to keep her seat. Obviously this is my opinion but I think she is the most iconic black hero in history, because she had no right to get off her seat and she didn’t.

    My favourite black hero is Nelson Mandela because he was in prison for 27 years and he still made a difference.

    This is my opinion, but Stevie Wonder is the best black hero in the book. Even his major disability didn’t stop him from writing, playing, and singing some of the best songs and music anyone has ever heard. I recommend listening to ‘pastime paradise’.
