A simple sentence has a subject and a verb. The subject is who or what the sentence is about. The verb and the object or complement together are often called the predicate. As simple sentence has one independent clause. A compound sentence has two or more simple sentences joined together, usually with a comma and a coordinating conjunction. A complex sentence is a simple sentence with subordinate clause joined to it. A subordinate clause depends on another clause to complete an idea because it can not go by itself, so we call subordinate clauses dependent clauses.
A simple sentence is a sentence is 1 phrase. Example, I went for a walk.
A compound sentence is a sentence that has two independent phrases joined together by a comma or a conjunction. Example Today I am going Luca’s party, he is turning 10.
A complex sentence is a independent and dependent sentence joined together by a comma or a conjunction. A dependent phrase does not make seance on its own.
Example, Today I am going to Luca’s party, it is at goals.
A simple sentence is a sentence with one completed thought, or one independent clause.

A compound sentence is asentence with two independent clauses. They are often joined with a conjunction.

A complex sentences a sentense made out of an independent clause and a dependent clause (a complete thought and an incomplete thought).
E.g: If you have trainers, come jogging too!
