I discovered that a darker shadow will occur when you shine a light on an opaque object. This is because an opaque object doesn’t allow any light to pass through it, creating a darker shadow.
In our investigation we were trying to see if the shape of the two transparent bottles shadows would change depending on when you put both of them separately and when you put both of them together (one bottle was filled with water)
I found that if you put both of them together it creates a very dark shadow and when you shine the light through the bottles it makes a very long shadow you can still see a shadow from the water shining through.

That the further away you put the object from the light source the smaller it getsAnd the closer you get to the light source the bigger it gets
I discovered that mirrors do create shadows because they reflect all the light away meaning there is no light(a shadow)behind it.
