    A digital footprint is something that you type up or post on social-media but once you put it on it will always be there somewhere, even if you try to delete it.

    You can try and ensure you have a clean digital footprint is by going on settings also, you can delete the post or message.

    A digital foot print is something that someone looks-up or posts on the internet but when you do look it up, it will never be deleted and even if you do delete,it will still be there.Deep inside the internet though it may be invisible.

    To have a clean digital footprint, you could go into computer history or google history and/or delete the post or message that you think is inappropriate.

    You need to be careful of the sites that you visit and what you type in them as they can potentially stay around forever. And can be searched up if applying for a job or a school you would like to go to . SO BE CAREFUL OF WHAT YOU DO ON THE INTERNET.

    If you ever type in something on youtube, e.t.c it gets saved automatically as soon as your search it up, Also if you are looking at posts and then you just decide to delete your account, make sure to delete everything you want people not to see otherwise they could do a screenshot.

    A digital foot print is like a tail because when you go on anything or post anything relating to the internet there will be evidence somewhere on your device that you have been online despite the fact it is invisible. Your digital foot print is permanent which is why some people like to call it a digital tattoo.

    To have a clean digital footprint, delete unwanted photos or posts so they don’t spread more. Also, if you want, you can change the settings, so only friends can see or totally private.

    It is important to have a clean digital footprint because if you have a dirty footprint and you are applying for a job they will see all you inappropriate searches or mean comments.
