  1. TAHA says:

    there are 8 parts altogether 3 of them are adults the rest of them are 5 and they are children 32 more children means 2 parts which equal 16 and 16.

    8-3=5 parts. 16*3=48 adults.

    16*5=80 Children.
    5-3=2 parts =32 so 1 part is 16.
    48+80=128 people in total.

  2. Catherine says:

    A=adults C=children
    A+32=C
    3/8+32=5/8
    5/8-3/8=32
    32=2/8
    1/8=16
    8/8 (1)=16*8
    16*8=128
    128 people are at the show.

  3. Adi says:

    A(adults)+32=C(children)
    32=2/8xP(people in total)
    1/8xP=32/2=16
    16×8=P=128
    P=128

  4. Ewen says:

    3/8 of people=adults
    5/8 of people=children
    Adults+32=children
    3/8 of people+32=5/8 of people
    32=5/8 of people-3/8 of people
    32=2/8 of people
    16=1/8 of people
    People= 16*8=128

    Check:
    Adults=3/8 of 128
    3/8*128/1=384/8
    384/8=48
    Adults=48

    Children=5/8 of 128
    5/8*128/1=640/8
    640/8=80
    Children=80

    48+80=128

    128 people attend the show.
