I think that this quote implies that to succeed and overcome different challenges you have to work hard.

  3. Ewen says:

I think it means ‘there is no shortcut to success, you need to encounter problems in the learning pit and overcome them the hard way.’

  4. Catherine says:

I think this is a very wise comment which means that to be successful you can’t have a half-hearted attitude towards things. You have to give 100% and work hard in everything you do.

  5. Suleman says:

I think this means you can’t just be born with success you have to work to the top yourself. In my point of view if you do not work at something and be successful it is not your success because you did not deserve it. You only get rewards if you do something first.

This quote implies that there’s no “easy way” of getting successful. We have to take the hard route. For example, When people know how to do something in Maths and you can’t, don’t think that they’ve done it easily. They can only do it easily now because they’ve already gone up the stairs. it’s like running up the stairs then resting at the top quicker than you while you were WALKING up the stairs.
