    28 because the factors of 28 are 1,2,4,7and 14 together they add up to 28.

    12 because the factors are 1,2,3 and 6, and if you add them altogether you will get 12.

    I thought of 28 as well because 1+2+4+7+14=28.
    1+2+4+7+14
    (3)+4+7+14
    (3)+(11) +14
    (14)+14
    28

    Also, I figured out that the third perfect number would be around 500.

    It is 496 I think! I’ll check:
    1+2+4+8+16+31+62+124+248=496
    (3)+4+8+16+31+62+124+248=496
    (3)+(12)+16+31+62+124+248=496
    (3)+(12)+(47)+62+124+248=496
    (3)+(12)+(47)+(186)+248=496
    (15)+(233)+248=496
    (248)+248=496
    (496)=496
