Thank you to everyone who submitted questions based on the above stimulus illustration. I have decided to go with Ewen’s question.

You could because if you got too attached to a phone you could ask it what to do for the rest of your life.

  2. A d a m says:

You can get too attached to something because you can depend on it for the rest of your life.

  3. Ewen :) says:

Being attached to something has different meanings. For example, if you are attached to a member of your family or a possession. If you are too attached to something it means you can’t (or you think you can’t) live without it. So I do think you can get too attached to something.

  4. Catherine says:

I agree, you can get too attached to something because sometimes people might feel like that something has a very special meaning to them and so they don’t want to anything without it. Then it becomes a problem because its holding you back from opportunities.

  5. Max Essery says:

I think you can get attached too something for example a device.I also think that you can’t, because you might have a health problem and you need something to survive.Or it could be something in between like drugs. They can keep you alive but you can get too attached. So I think that you can get to attached to something but you also can’t.

  6. TAHA says:

Don’t be attached to your phone or else your phone will be part of you.

  7. Phoebe says:

Yes you can! If you think you can’t survive without something, and think about it 24/7 then you are too attached to it.

  8. Eleni says:

I think you can get to attached to something because some people get to attached to there video games sometimes like if your parents say get of you can not listen and stay on because you are stuck in the moment and want to stay there.

  9. jake says:

I agree that you can get too attached to things. Things such as electronics can be very addictive and you can lose track of time and be on there for ages. You can also depend on these things far too much and not realise you are using them.

  10. Sophia says:

I agree with Ewen and being attached to something can have different meanings and it could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on what you are attached to.

  11. Sule says:

Well if you get to attached to something I think this means you depend on it to much so if someone took it away for you you wouldn’t do anything else because you think you would need that particular thing too much.

  12. Sule says:

So I think you can be too attached to something if you use or do that thing too much.

  13. Ansaar says:

You can get too attached to something which is kind of a bad thing in a way because then you can’t cope without it. Also say you have a phone (like in this picture) and you are attached to it, if someone takes it away from you you might feel hopeless or weakless.

  14. Adi says:

I think you can get too attached to something and depend on it too much because we already seem very dependent on technology to: communicate with each other; manufacture various products; travel places and get information about multiple things.

  15. JOEY(0_0) says:

I think it shows how you should share your feelings.

  16. Louie says:

Even adults can get attached to phones. My dads used to take their phones to bed until I persuaded them to leave their phones downstairs. Now they are less grumpy in the morning because they have slept better. Too much of anything can make a person addicted!
