Mr Burns I didn’t know where to write this but I think we have already done a book

  2. Aditya says:

Sometimes we give people the answers they want to hear to make them happy and/or to boost their self confidence.
e.g You tell someone that there good at something even though you know that they aren’t.
This is own as a white lie. So we do always agree with ourselves but at the same time agree with ourselves to say something else.

I find your thoughts interesting Adi. So you think that sometimes we may contradict ourselves when trying to be helpful to someone?

What do we think of Adi’s comment? Do we agree or disagree?

P.S. Two housepoints to unicorns 🙂

  3. Elpida says:

    1. Why do we sometimes put ourselves in situations we don’t want to be in to make someone happy?

    2. Is making others happy always good for you?

    3. Does it always help to listen to ourselves?

    4. Should we always agree with ourselves?

    5. Is what we think we should do always correct?

      Great selection of questions Elpida.
I particularly like number 2: Is making others happy always good for you?
What do you think about this question?

I like number 2 as well because it might be to fit in or something but what I think about this is speaking out to say your opinion and not pretending you’re someone else. I personally think this is linked to speaking out and not being afraid to say something you want to.
