Creative Writing Challenge

As requested, here is a creative writing challenge.

Please write one detailed creative paragraph describing the image above. Be extra mindful of all the verbal feedback that I have been giving you recently in your narrative writing. Before you begin writing, think of what language/text features I would expect to see in the piece. Challenge yourselves, but remember the ‘Salt & Pepper’ approach.

Warning: posts with multiple punctuation errors will not be approved!

🙂

Hi Everybody!

Hi everybody, I hope you are all staying safe at home and being kind to your parents/carers/siblings! It was pretty weird at school yesterday without you guys. Although it was super quiet in the classroom which you all know is my favourite thing!

Mrs Watson and I spent a large portion of the day working on your home learning activities which are now live on the school website. We are trying our best to continue with the long-term curriculum planning that we had devised for you. We are still working things out so please stay patient. We understand that you all have different learning levels so if you find something too challenging on the Year 6 page, you can always find some learning you are comfortable with on the page of another Year Group. Conversely, we intend to provide additional challenge and more open-ended tasks in the coming days/weeks. Your suggestions are always welcome!

Let’s keep this blog as active as possible. I will try to post content and interact with you daily. Remember, although you are learning from home, the usual online etiquette applies. Also, we are in Year 6 so CHECK YOUR PUNCTUATION!

I look forward to hearing from you all.

Mr Burns 🙂
