Check out Elpida’s book review of Arsenic for Tea from the much loved Murder Most Unladylike series by Robin Stevens. You will all recognise this title from our wonderful World Book Day classroom door design! Thanks Elpida!
Google Meet
Hi everybody, just a reminder that we will be having our first whole class Google Meet today at 14.00 so please log on. It is a great opportunity for the class to interact with each other and bridge the gap between those who are learning at home and those who are learning at school . During the session today, we are going to discuss and share what work we are particularly proud of that we have completed recently. (If you could show us this on camera, that would be great.) We are also going to have a discussion about our thoughts about moving to secondary school in September. This follows on from our blog work yesterday and informs our important transition work.
Follow this link to join our class Meet.
See you all later! 🙂
Transition
What are your thoughts about beginning secondary school in September? Are you excited? Or anxious? What are you looking forward to? What will you miss about primary school?
Share your thoughts in the comments.
Philosophy 4 Children
Have a look at the above image and think of some deep philosophical questions that you could ask to stimulate some interesting discussion. Please add in the comments! 🙂
Home Learning -Questions
If you have any questions regarding this week’s home learning, please post them here and I aim to answer as best I can. Also, if you can answer somebody’s question, please do so in the comments. 🙂
Chicken Challenge!
Without looking at the answer, who can figure this out and explain their process?
French Virtual Lesson
Hi everybody, Mme Sharkey and I are looking forward to welcoming you this afternoon for our first virtual French lesson. Sadly, the link on the Year 6 home learning page does not appear to be working so please follow the link below to join us at 2pm:
Please remember to read the Google Meet guidance in advance.
See you later!
Book Reviews
I know that lots of you have been using this time to get stuck into your reading. It would be fantastic if you could recommend some books for each other to read. It would be even better if you could write a book review that we could share on the blog. If there has been a book that you have read recently that you would like to review and recommend to a classmate, please use one of the following templates:

HAPPY READING! 🙂
