I hope grandpa stays somehow because hes Alex’s only friend and he will be lonely at home with no one that cares for him. I rate this book 9.3 out of 10 only because, i think things are starting to slow down and I want to see more of grandpa! 🙂 🙂

My theory:
Tommy’s murderer is following Grandad, trying to kill him. Grandad actually DOES see a person, and get’s intoa fight with him. It might not be his dementia after all!
I think that grandpa can see things from the past or see people that hurt him when he was young . Seen as though Alex never saw anyone only heard some words, including the word murder I think grandpa was seeing someone. ( Tommy’s murder. )

My theorie is that Leonard is always spying on Alex and grandad because on one of the photographs there was that man and I think it might be Leonard and also that grandad is not imagining things.
When Grandad stared into space while talking about bad blood, I think he was thinking of him and Tommy having disagreements when he was young. He was guilty about fighting with Tommy.
I also think that Alex’s dad called grandpa ‘silly old fool’ because he knows grandpa is trying to find Tommy’s murderer, buthe thinks there is no hope to find the criminal.

I think Grandpa might be running to where the last time he saw Tommy’s murderer was because he wants to catch who ever killed Tommy .
Maybe Leonard will actually tell the parents about the grandad setting his pillow on fire.
