Lots of our discussions in STEEAM have been around space exploration, space holidays and living on other planets.
Well, good news! NASA have made cookies in space, in their very own oven.

BUT (this is why I couldn’t be an astronaut!) they can’t eat them yet, they have to be tested first!
I will only sign up for space travel / moving to another planet, when apple crumble is made available.
I wonder why they haven’t tried that yet? Any thoughts
Well, I think having it with custard with your crumble may be a bit difficult, with zero gravity, Mr Woolton. You don’t want to be the person that destroys the electronic systems on a space craft because a bit of your custard floated inside!
I wonder if they make vanilla ice cream in space? If so, I would be happy enough to sustain the six month journey to Mars. If not, then I am definitely not travelling to Mars whatsoever!
I think astronauts can take freeze-dried ice cream to space, you used to be able to buy it at The Science Museum shop!
