Year 5 STEEAM presentations Friday 7th February

Wow! Mr Burns and I could see how hard you were all working on your research in our STEEAM sessions, but we were still completely amazed by the standard of presentations on Friday. The mixture of Powerpoints, posters, models and demonstrations were fantastic and it was great to see how confidently you presented your materials.

Here is a final list of research questions from Year 5

How will 10 billion people live on earth?
Will we be able to play computer games in our head?
Will we holiday on Mars?
What food will we eat in 100 years?
What will London’s tallest building be in 100 years?
Will we live on Mars in 100 years?
Will we Skype in 100 years?
How will we travel to work in 100 years?
What will buildings look like in 100 years?
What new electronics will there be in 100 years?
Will disease be a thing of the past in 100 Years?

Well done again, Year 5. Thank you to Mr Burns for running these sessions and to Mrs Cullen and Mr Woolton for their support. Thank you also to your parents and carers for coming to watch and for supporting you at home.

Year 5, you may do STEEAM again next year, when you’re in Year 6. Please can you have a think of how you would like the club to be organised? Did you like doing your own research or would you prefer an adult to direct you more? Did you like that all the STEEAM subjects were mixed together, or would you prefer them to be seperate?

You can leave any ideas in the comments section.
