I think people do it so then maybe for a baby shower for example then the people will know were to look for the right clothing for a specific gender. Maybe people do it so if your a girl, you can find the right size. To be fair, I’m actually not sure why! But I don’t like gender stereotypes.
I am in the middle because some boys like to only wear “boy” clothes but others mite like to wear “girl” clothes and some girls might like to wear “girl” clothes but others mite like to wear “boy” clothes.
I some times look in the “boy” section and other times I might want to look in the “girl” section.
When I go look at shoes I definitely don’t think there should be a “boy” and “girl” section because I once went into a shoe shop and in the “girl” section there was the exact same time but just in a different colour in the “boy” section.
I think it should be organised because sometimes they do it to what girls would probably like more and what boys would probably like more and not by colour. Also there’s nothing wrong with a girl going into the boys section or a boy going into the girls section if they wanted to. It might be confusing if they were all mixed up because some people for example really like purple of really like green and some things would be easier to find.
I think that certain items such as: pants and some trousers should be in different sections but t-shirts, jumpers and other types of trousers should all be together. Sometimes when I’m in a shop and I don’t like anything in the girls section and I go to look in the boys I feel judged and like I shouldn’t be there. This shouldn’t be the case so for most things I think that they should all be in the same section.

I think that for example Baby Showers if it is a boy then everyone brings blue things and if it is a girl then you bring pink things.But as you get older then you like anything even if in shops it is in the ‘Girls’ section.
