Well done to all of the fantastic writers who entered the Wimbledon Bookfest Young Writers’ Competition 2020. It was an absolute pleasure to read over sixty entries this year, great work Pelham!
Sadly, only three poems and three stories from each year group category could be shortlisted to represent Pelham. It was very tough to choose (particularly in Years 5 and 6!) but congratulations if your entry is listed below. Your work has now been sent off to Bookfest for judging. If the competition runs to its usual timetable, we will hear back in the Autumn Term if any Pelham entries have been successful…fingers crossed!
